Marco Santarelli

Marco Santarelli, 48, is Head of Communications for Italy, Malt and the Western Balkans for the European Investment Bank (EIB).  From 2001-2008 he was the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of “Il Mondo”, the economics monthly magazine of the Corriere della Sera. He has also worked for “MF-Milano Finanza as a  Parliamentary journalist and as Vice Director of the Rome Bureau; “Il Messaggero” and “Il Sole 24 Ore”.  He holds a degree in Political Science from Cesare Alfieri University in Florence, writing his thesis on European Union law.
