Pietro Mattioni

Pietro is currently CEO of Zonin 1821, the fourth largest Italian wine group with a strong international focus. Prior to that he was Global Commercial Director of illycaffè, responsible for worldwide sales, a role he held from January 2018 till October 2020. 

From 2014 – 2017 he was with Gruppo Campari as Managing Director UK, Nordics and Eastern EU based in London and, from 2009 - 2014, he was Managing Director Benelux, based in Brussels.  

His career with the group began with Campari International and over the course of several years he held a variety of roles which involved relaunching the company in the UK, Western Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific.

Early in his career he also worked for Vetrella SpA and the De Longhi Group.

Between 2016 and 2018, he successfully completed an EMBA at the Cass Business School in London.
