Stefano Burani

Stefano Burani was the second President of Business Club Italia (2006 -2010).  After graduating in Economics from La Sapienza University in Rome he joined Banca Commerciale Italiana and has remained with the Intesa Sanpaolo group throughout his professional career.  He is currently Deputy CEO of the Bank’s subsidiary in Romania.  In London he was the Head of the Intesa branch there for five years and was also in charge of the EMEA business HUB of the Group.  Stefano was Vice President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce for the UK and Board member of the Association of Foreign Banks (London) and is currently Chairman di SIBAC Ltd (Shanghai Sino Italy Business Advisory Co, Shanghai) and on the board of Intesa Sanpaolo Soditic Trade Finance (London). Married with three children, he is also a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers and a Freeman of the City of London.
