Ivan Borriello

Ivan is a Senior Private Banker in Milan, in the Wealth Management team of Lombard Odier, a leading Swiss private bank. The role entails advising families, entrepreneurs and family offices, on the preservation of wealth and investment opportunities in liquid and illiquid assets. Ivan’s 25-year professional skills were shaped in London, New York and Milan. He began his career as a government bond broker in London in the mid 90s, then joined Bloomberg as a sales executive and subsequently moved to Morgan Stanley as a private banker, where he worked for over 13 years. More recently, Ivan led the international expansion of Ersel, an Italian multi-family office, liaising directly with the founding family.

Ivan graduated in Economics, Marketing and Business Administration at the University of Naples (Italy) in 1993. He spent an academic year at the University of York (UK), where he pioneered the Erasmus Program,  the EU-sponsored student exchange project, now widely popular. Ivan took a gap year to launch a food start-up in Italy and the UK, which enabled him to engage with entrepreneurs and business angels. In 2018 Ivan received an award for Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management from the Imperial College Business School in London.

Ivan is married with three bi-lingual children, proudly tied to their Italian roots.
